Rideshare Driver Insurance
Are you a rideshare driver? If so, it’s time to consider your insurance coverage. Although ridesharing companies often have their own insurance coverage, it does not cover all potential risks, and it is subject to change at any time. By having your own policy, you may always be aware of your coverage and take the appropriate action.
In general, rideshare driving insurance comes in two versions.
- Comprehensive coverage provides you with all the protection you may require while offering transportation to other people. This comprises a full-coverage liability policy, bodily injury protection, collision coverage, and more policy components.
- Supplemental coverage is different and focuses on bridging the gaps left by a ridesharing service’s insurance policy. For instance, the ridesharing service might not provide coverage for a vehicle prior to that vehicle being paired with a rider; in this case, you would need to use your own insurance policy in the event of an accident.
There are advantages to both types of coverage. Discuss your options with one of our advisors regarding rideshare drivers’ insurance if you’re unsure what insurance is ideal for you.
